If you’ve spent any time in downtown Greenville over the last 15 years, you know the Greenville Beer Exchange (GBX) as the gold standard for craft beer.

But what many don't realize is how much the space has evolved. With a recent expansion, GBX grew beyond the retail shelves to include a 40-seat taproom and a private 12-seat boardroom.

This evolution brought about a dedicated wine partnership and a full-scale wine retail program.

Amy curates a rotating retail collection of 150 bottles, alongside a selection of by-the-glass options available in the Taproom. The focus is exclusively on artisan producers who honor the land, with a commitment to offering organic wines. Every bottle on the shelves is chosen for its integrity, its story, and its true sense of place.

Bubbles are a cornerstone of the Pocket Somm identity. We feature over 40 selections of sparkling wines, anchored by an extensive and rotating collection of Grower Champagne. From rare, terroir-driven bottles to high-energy every day sparklers, there is always something effervescent waiting to be popped!

Saturday Wine Tastings

Join Amy in the GBX Boardroom for a guided flight of four wines in an approachable, blind-tasting format. You’ll learn the tips and tricks of a Certified Sommelier while exploring organic, site-specific wines in a fun and casual environment. $45 (inclusive of tax and gratuity.)
